C-10 Type 4 Canal Gate
The Waterman C-10 Canal Gate with Type 4 frame is designed
for direct bonding onto PVC plastic pipe utilizing a two part epoxy cement
such as IPS #1950 or #10. The frame is quick and easy to install, simply
apply epoxy to the special spigot and inside wall of pipe and push into
I.D. of low head pipe. It is recommended that additional frame support
be provided to reduce stress on the plastic pipe, particularly on extended
frames. This can be accomplished with the use of anchor bolts.
