Uses
The Waterman DF Valve provides a large volume, low head, flush type hydrant,
with manual, electric motor or air operators. It is designed for quick
flushing operation for dairy alleys and feed lot slabs.
Features on the Stanard Unit
The corrosion resistant cast aluminum bodied valve features a stainless
steel operating stem, composition rubber-packed cast iron valve cover
and wide angle discharge outlet. The valve closes under shearing pressure
ensuring the best closure with debris-filled water. The valve is made
with a spigot type base to be epoxy cemented into PVC plastic, or installed
on concrete risers.
Features on the Pneumatic Cushion Flush Valve
Pneumatic Cushion provides full opening unobstructed watercourse for maximum
flow and minimum debris retention. Compression style attachment to pipe
allows for portability and maximum ease-of-installation. Valve may mount
in floor recess with optional "Trap Door" type enclosure. This
allows for unobstructed traffic over the valve. The enclosure cover raises
only when the valve is activated. Tough epoxy coating provides excellent
corrosion protection.
