Uses
This gate is formed from extra-heavy prime galvanized steel and features
die-formed seats which make the gate an excellent turnout when grouted
into irrigation pots or into lengths of concrete pipe, when riveted into
steel pipe or when glued into PVC pipe. The unit is also extensively used
for lined ditch turnouts and dairy operations where a reasonably tight
gate is adequate. Ask for: C-2 or C-2E for concrete or corrugated steel
pipe applications C-2-4 for PIP size plastic pipe C-2E-4 (Specify IPS
or PIP- requires 2 part epoxy) C-2E-CIP for PIP or IPS PVC pipe (specify-
uses PVC cement) C-2E-6 for HDPE pipe
Features
The slides are held in position by spring tension rolls. This enables
the slide to be set in any position, easily regulating flow. Easy lift
handles allow comfortable operation.
Special Adaptations
Special adaptations of our Model C-2 gate are available as shown. Units
under 6" in diameter are available with special outside seam or crimped
ends for use with galvanized furrow tubes. Tubes in 12", 18",
24" and 30" lengths are standard.
